Luke On Tech

Luke on Tech is a new website from LukeD – known outside of the intertubes as Luke Dicken. Luke is a 23 year old postgraduate student currently studying in the area of “Informatics” (which is a fancy way of saying IT or Computing). His main focus is AI, but he has a big interest in a range of applications of technology. When he isn’t controlling a vast army of robotic minions, he works as a Technical Consultant, providing IT-related services from web-design to site-wide security and systems audits, and even occasionally does software development. Right now, his clients include home users, non-profit organisations, start-ups and SMBEs.

Why does Luke think he needs to set up a whole website dedicated to writing about tech? “Well, its kind of my job to know exactly what is going on in the industry so I can best advise my clients, and it also help to put my studies into context. Since I’m already doing a lot of the reading, it seems like the next step is to start doing some of the writing too.”
